Can we say it's been a hectic few weeks???
Well lets start with the birth of Tyler David Alderman. OMG! What a night, Mike and I had just finished working on the yard and I was fresh from the shower when Melissa Ann calls me and says "GET READY LIZ'S WATER BROKE!!" I was like WHHHHHAT. So Melissa and Erika pick me up and we were on our way. We wanted to stop at the Mt. Clemens carnival to get elephant ears, but we figured it wasn't the right time. LOL. We made sure we had everything we needed except the things we actually needed. Like camera, cigs and something to drink. We stopped and got snacks, cigs and drinks. We all had camera phones and Melissa's husband was bringing everything else. After along wait and somethings that are not my business to share, Tyler was born. May 29, 11:35 pm we wished Tyler a very Happy Birthday. He is absolutely amazing. Cutest new addition to our little family. Welcome to Michigan Tyler. LOL!
Back to the yard work. Mike and I are moving in together this Winter and we started some of the changes we wanted to make to the house. We started with the landscaping. It was a terrible mess before we (I,lol) got in there. Mikes dad has not been up to par for sometime so he was unable to maintain it, well we got in there and destroyed it. In a good way of course. We pulled out like 9 bushes, LOTS of weeds, old plants, moved Hostis (sp?), planted many things, used 18 bags of mulch and fixed and opened the sprinkler system. Of course we picked the hottest day of the month to do it. I was sweating like a whore in church. LOL. I got so much sun (my tan looks amazing). After we got finished it looked like a completely different place. We did awesome. I was soo proud of us. We did it without any fights or disagreements. That's a first for me, my ex would have complained the whole time and made it not worth it. Mike and I work really well together. I appreciate it! I cant wait til we re-do the inside. That is going to be fun.
Last weekend was AWESOME! We had such a good time with everything we did. We seen people we love very much, we bbq'ed, finished Season 2 of True Blood. OMG! I love that show. We went to see Sex And The City, I was very disappointed with it. Aubu-Daubi? Loubitons? and No Sex, SERIOUSLY? It was like watching a bad episode. Which in my opinion there were no bad episodes. I will NOT be buying that on DVD. It was a waste of money, hopefully if they do a part 3, that it will be better than the 2.5 hours of my life I'll never get back. So disappointed. On a better note, I did get to do some shopping. I got some pretty sweet deals. I got 2 frames at Target (my all time favorite store) that were 29.99 for 4.50 each. WOWZA! They will look super cute on the mantel in the house.
